I'm an amateur artist and writer who has spent most of his youth daydreaming. That doesn't mean I'm LAZY mind you only that I usually find the job I'm currently doing quite boring.
Years ago I had hoped to be a comic book artist but that fell through because I was not good enough. While most artists who drew in the same medium were drawing their favorite superhero, I was inventing my own. It was never my hope to draw for a Spiderman comic but see my own ideas come to life. But alas that was not to be.
At one point I was hoping ot get a job...ANY job...within Disney's Animation Studio in Florida within Walt Disney World but that didn't work either. That building ended up closing thanks to bad business ideas and Michael Eisner being a putz so it was pointless if I got hired or not for everyone was fired. Nice guy huh?
But still...
One thing remained constant through my life though: I loved to create and invent characters and sometimes even a story behind them. I never wrote them down though. Then Morgalla game to be. But where she came from is another story all together.
I loved movies all my life though in recent years I've become depressed as to the choices that Hollywood has made and the horrible writing from many films. But there is hope from films like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings.
I've grown to enjoy being a film critic in someways but not how a movie was GOOD per se', but how it may have royally sucked. Not just movies but other aspects of our pop culture. You'll see that a lot in my journal indeed.
You'll also see me talk about Morgalla and my writing. I finished YET another draft of my book this past year and might have to make more revisions as needed. I'm also working on two sequels which I already know...well kinda...what's going to happen. Learning from the successes of other people and the mistakes that they sometimes make I try to make my own work even better. |
